Capability Enhancement Programme on Tech Banking & Financial Technology
Chief Guest Sri. K. Parathasarathy, distinguished retiree with 34 years of experience as a Bank Officer specializing in core Banking and Computer Technology. The speaker explains the banking system was in operation before the launch of the computer system in our country. He also discussed functionalities of Automated Teller Machine and recent works on VSAT for ATM. Usage of BioMetric ATM for disbursing the cash to the customer were discussed with real time examples. He shared that all major banks now adapted to the core banking system. This has simplified the day to day banking operations and the technology on banking reduced the crowd management. After his lecture the students were given time to interact with him. Students felt that the session was more informative and interactive. This is programme conducted in our college on 15-09.2023 at first year Data Science classroom

Course Outcomes (CO)

CO - 1 : To understand the problem solving approaches

PO – 1 :Disciplinary knowledge: Capable of demonstrating comprehensive knowledge and understanding of one or more disciplines that form a part of an undergraduate Programme of study

PSO – 1: To enable students to apply basic microeconomic, macroeconomic and monetary concepts and theories in real life and decision making.
