History
Eco Club was established in our college campus on July 2017 with the support of DRBCCC Hindu College Management, Eco Club there are two units viz. Nature Club & Blue Syndicate and Mr.MO James Secretary-Thiruvallur, Taminadu kalai Ilakiya Perumandram as Chief Guest of the Inauguration.
Eco Club is a platform on which we got the knowledge about environment, Eco Club in a group who works to contribute to improving environmental conditions and we offer programs & activities to encourage others to reduce pollution, plant trees and also to promote sound environmental behavior.
Objectives
To make Clean and Green Campus;
To create awareness among the student about need of environmental Protection;
To prepare and organize student`s participation for preservation and conservation of environment;
To use different media such as audio, visual, posters, seminar, workshop, Guest Lecture and competitions for spreading messages concerning environment;
To create awareness among Society regarding environmental protection; and To create pollution free environment

Activities
Environmental awareness programmes such as Air Pollution, Plastic free Society, Water Conservation, Pond Cleaning, Tree Plantations, Cycle Rally
Adopting Schools to grow trees ( Sekkadu Government School near Avadi)
Planting Tree saplings in Industrial areas Planted saplings at Heavy Vehicle Factory areas associated with Nallakeerai
Pond Cleaning , Planted Saplings and Pond Creation at Sriperumbudur areas associated with Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development
Teaching Faculties attended One day orientation Programme on Environment and Yoga at Tiruvallur Heartfulness Institute.
