Annual Sports Day for the academic year 2022-2023 held on 22nd February 2023. Chief Guest Dr.N.JEYARAJ, Senior Kabaddi Coach (Rtd.), Sports Authority of India, Chennai. Dr.G.Kalvikkarasi Principal and Dr.N.Rajendra Naidu, Director, DRBCCC Hindu College graced the occasion.
The Rolling Trophies were given to the Annual Sports Day 2022-2023, The Inter-Department Over All Championship for (shift-1) Men Games and Athletics goes to Department of B.A.Economics with 106 Points and (shift -2) Department of Computer Application with 71 points.
In the Annual Sports Day 2022-2023 The Inter- Department Over All Championship for (shift-1) Women Games and Athletics goes to Department of B.COM with57 points and (shift -2) Department of B.A.Criminology with 81 points.
In shift-1, Individual Championship for Men has been won by Mr.G.SANJAY, I-B.A.Economics (31 Points) and for the Women, Ms.R.SWETHA - III BCS (31 Points) and shift-2 the honour goes to Mr.S.MANIMARAN - III BCS (20 Points) for Men and Women goes to Ms. V.JEEVITHA, I- Criminology, (21 Points).This event was organized and presided over by Dr.M.Kulothungan & Ms.T.Priya, Department of Physical Education.
15th Cunnan Trophy & 12th Seethamma Trophy state level inter-collegiate tournament held on 19th December 2022. Chief Guest of today’s function Mr.G.LAWRANCE, Inspector of Police, Pattabiram.
In Cunnan Trophy A.M.Jain College, New College, DRBCCC Hindu College and TNC College took the Winner, Runner, IIIrd and IVth places respectively in the Basketball game.
In Seethamma Trophy Kabaddi tournament Nazareth college, DRBCCC Hindu College, KCS Kasi Nadar College and SKPC College secured the Winner, Runner, IIIrd and IVth places respectively.
Organizing the University of Madras B-Zone (Men) Football tournaments has been fixed and will take place on 13th, 14th, 15th, 17th &18th October 2022.
