The Department of Corporate Secretaryship has conducted a week-long certificate course on “ GST E-Filing ” with expert instructors provided by" RPS Academy". The course aimed to enhance the skills and to scale their employability. The course spanned for one week, with daily sessions led by experienced instructors from RPS Academy. This expertise in GST regulations and e-filing processes ensured that participants received comprehensive and practical training. The GST E-Filing certificate course conducted by RPS Academy was a valuable learning opportunity for our department. It successfully equipped participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to manage GST compliance and e-filing tasks effectively. The expertise of the instructors and the practical nature of the course made it a highly beneficial experience.

The Department of Corporate Secretaryship has conducted a week-long certificate course on “Stock Marketing and Advanced Options Trading”, with expert instructions provided by “iGeN Technologies”. The course aimed to enhance the students in understanding of stock market operations, investment strategies, and market analysis techniques. The course spanned for one week, with daily sessions led by experienced instructors from iGeN Technologies. Their expertise in financial markets and investment strategies was instrumental in providing a comprehensive learning experience. Overall, the certificate course on the stock market was a valuable educational experience. It equipped participants with essential skills and knowledge needed to navigate the complexities of financial markets. The expertise of the instructors from iGeN Technologies significantly contributed to the success of the course.

The Department of Corporate Secretaryship has conducted a week-long certificate course on the “Business Analytics with Spreadsheet”, led by instructors from “Tamilnadu Advanced Technical Training Institute”(TATTI), Chennai. The course aimed to enhance participants skills in using spreadsheets for data analysis and business decision-making. The course was held over one week, with daily sessions conducted by experienced instructors from TATTI. Participants provided positive feedback, highlighting the course’s relevance and practical application. The instructors from TATTI were commended for their expertise and effective teaching methods. The practical exercises and real-world scenarios were particularly appreciated for their relevance applicability.

The Community development program in association with United way of Chennai provided College students with a valuable opportunity to gain Insights into theAwareness of Social service,Cleanup and career guidance , held on 08:06:2024 at Government school in Iyyappanthangal. Our students cleared the dust on wall and and cleaned the floor. To maintaining a safe, healthy and inviting environmentAlong with Barclays members Our students cleaned the whole class room by broomed up and cleared the dust in the class room .Students cleared the waste garbage like plastic covers, bottle and dust moved in in to the dustbin.

The Department of Corporate Secretaryship conducted a Short Term Certificate Course on Photoshop from 05-09-2022 to 12-09-2022.The course had a duration of 5 days. Students of 2nd year B.COM (ISM) tutored the participants of the course. The participants actively participated and submitted their project on Photoshop. On 16th feb valedictory session, the participants showcased their projects and Certificates were awarded to the participants on the same day.

The Department of Corporate Secretaryship organized an interdepartmental competition held on 24-09-2022. They scheduled3 different types of competition at RAMANUJAM hall. The 1st competition was Oratorical where DR. Jasmin and Prof. Dinesh were the honorable judges. More than 15 students participated and expressed their viewpoint on famous industrialists. Moved forward with next competition which was critical thinking, under the surveillance of Prof. DR. P. Libia, where more than 60 students participated and answered 50 objective questions which enhances the knowledge of corporate student.

The Students of Corporate Secretaryship conducted the “MOCK EXTRA ORDINARY GENERAL MEETING” in the name of the company “THROTTLE TECH CORP AUTOMOTIVE PVT. LTD” All legal formalities of an actual meeting were scheduled and performed by the students. The Department of Corporate secretaryship was first to conduct Mock Extra Ordinary General Meeting (Mock EGM) in the college. It was conducted on 9th January 2020 in cunnan Auditorium between 3pm to 5pm. Mrs. Geetha Sridhar (Company Secretary, Cost Accountant and lawyer) was the Chief Guest of the occasion, our Principal. Dr. V. Lakshmi, Director Dr.N. Rajendra Naidu, Graced the programme with their presence.

The Department of Corporate Secretaryship arranged a SEBI visit for the final year students on 21st January 2020 at SEBI Overseas Tower, Thousand Lights, SEBI Southern regional Office, Chennai 600006. The session was handled by the Resource person Mr. Anand and Mrs. Padmini (Regional manager, SEBI) who discussed about five ‘I’s in the securities market which were held between 10:30a.m. To 4:30 p.m.
