2025 – 2026

A peer-to-peer teaching session was conducted on 26th June 2025 by 3rd BCA students for 1st BCA students in the first-year classroom. The session focused on Python programming and Web Development, aiming to strengthen the foundational knowledge of the juniors. It was an interactive and engaging session that encouraged active participation, practical learning, and knowledge sharing among students.

On 26th June 2025, the III BCA students conducted a peer-led session on the topic “Personal Branding” for the II BCA students at the II BCA classroom. The session aimed to create awareness among juniors about the importance of building a strong personal brand in today’s competitive world. Senior students shared insights on how to present oneself professionally, the role of social media, resume building, and communication skills.

The Department of Computer Application organized an insightful session on "Emerging Trends in the IT Sector and Their Impact on Placement" on 26th June 2025. The guest speaker for the event was Mr. Saikuppuraj, a seasoned Placement Officer known for his extensive industry engagement and placement strategies.

On 16th July 2025, the Department of Computer Applications conducted a Power Seminar with ICT Academy to enhance students' industry readiness through expert sessions, practical insights, interactive discussions, and exposure to current technological trends.

A seminar on “Digital Transformation in Manufacturing: Adopting Industry 5.0” was organized on 24th July 2025 to explore the emerging trends in smart manufacturing, human-centric automation, and the integration of cutting-edge technologies. The session was led by industry experts Dr. Arvind and Mr. Loganathan P. from Ashok Leyland, who shared valuable insights on the evolution from Industry 4.0 to Industry 5.0.

The Department of Computer Applications, in association with IQAC, organized a Soft Skill Training Programme titled “Campus to Corporate World” on Monday, 28 July 2025, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Seethamma Conference Hall. Dr. M. Mahalakshmi, Principal of RB Gothi Jain College, served as the resource person. The session focused on communication, professionalism, and workplace readiness. It aligned with SDG 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth, enhancing student employability and career transition.

DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER APPLICATIONS conducted a 30-hour Value Added Course on UI/UX in collaboration with TATTI. Led by Mr. Sheik Zubair, 55 BCA students gained hands-on experience in design tools, user-centered methodologies, and digital product development. The program aligned with SDG 4, promoting quality, skill-based, and inclusive education.The Value Added Course on UI/UX was conducted over five sessions on 01, 05, 06, 12, and 13 August 2025, held on Fridays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays to accommodate student availability and ensure consistent learning.

A Legal Awareness Session titled “From Ideas to Impact” was held on 18 August 2025 at Ramanujam Hall, in association with IQAC. The session emphasized copyrights, trademarks, innovation grants, and free legal aid. It supported SDGs 5 and 16, promoting justice, gender equality, and civic empowerment among students.

The Department of Computer Applications, in collaboration with IQAC, conducted a three-day Life Skill Program from 18th to 20th August 2025. Facilitated by Heartfulness Education Trust, the sessions focused on Emotional Intelligence, aiming to nurture empathetic, self-aware students with strong emotional and social competencies.

Industrial visit toAAAHA Solutions, Puducherry on 19.09.2025 involved 108 students and 4 faculty. The program aimed to bridge academic learning with industry practices, focusing onERP and React JS.It encouraged innovation, career exploration, skill development, and fostered collaboration between academia and the tech industry.
