Gender Cell
HISTORY
- Gender Cell was established in Hindu College in the
Academic Year 2008-2009.
- Main objective is to sensitize the student community
towards Gender Issues.
- To respect and give equal treatment for other Gender.
- To remove Gender discrimination.
- To enhance Women Empowerment
VISION
- To empower women to live with dignity and contribute
as equal partners in development.
- To create an environment free from violence and
discrimination.
- To create full opportunities for growth and
development in a safe and protective environment.
MISSION
- To promote social and economic empowerment for women.
- To create awareness about gender rights and realize
human rights.
- To ensure development, care and protection of women
in society.
Objectives
- Too sensitive about social and cultural constructions
of gender in society.
- To create awareness about gender equality.
